The owner, Maria, a former professor is extremly effort, helpful and very nice and friendly. In addition, she speaks perfect English because she has spent several years in America. Their staff are all very friendly and tried hard.
There is a very friendly atmosphere, as there are only a few rooms. The rooms are also a dream. Almost entirely glazed, looking directly into the jungle. The bathroom was so huge that many a normal room would have found it place. The cleanness and hygiene was top.
As the hotel is off the beaten track, there was also the possibility of the evening in the hotel to eat. That should definitely take at least once to complete. We were greeted with excellent home-cooked local dishes (Indonesian / Balinese cuisine) fed. There was always a variety of food to choose and cost.
From the villa you can easily drive to Ubud, or take a walk in the surrounding villages and in the jungle. Since this area is located at about 800m above sea level, it is also nice and cool in the evening. At least it was in early June, as we were there Sun
In a nutshell, that one should leave this station under any circumstances. Rarely we felt so well cared for, friendly, competent, but also unobtrusive.
We would immediately go back to the Villa Wastra!
