KOMANEKA AT TANGGAYUDA UBUD BALI

We stayed at Komaneka as part of our honeymoon in Bali and on arrival it met all of our expectations and more. Every member of staff we met, whether it was to order some food, ask a question of, or simply pass as we walked around the grounds was warm, welcoming and always prepared to go the extra mile in any situation. Every member of staff helped to provide services that were prompt, efficient and discrete.
The villa was extremely well presented and comfortable with even the tiniest of details considered carefully. The rooms were really clean and this was maintained throughout our stay. The only negative comment we have is that our villa (villa 111) was advertised as having 'a valley view' but trees and foliage have grown tall, obscuring the view somewhat.

The food was excellent and good value for money, considering it was a hotel. The ability to have any meal served in our villa, with no extra charge was a real treat, which we took advantage of. Upon ordering our meals, they arrived promptly and were clearly freshly cooked.

We enjoyed the facilities and activities offered by the hotel, including a traditional Balinese cookery class given by one of the chefs. This was really good fun and we learnt a lot about the local cuisine, however it would have been even better if we could have been more involved with the actual cooking, rather than observing the chef.

All in all a fantastic resort to stay at, especially special if you are on honeymoon!
